19.Let the tension of  the  string be  T,

For  block of  1kg,

T - 1*g = 1*a..................(i)

For block of  3 kg

3g - T  = 3a  ...............(ii)

Adding  both equations,

3g - g = 4a

2g = 4a

2*10 = 4a

a = 5 m/sec²

20. According  to newtons  second  law  of  motion,  Net  external force of a  body is  equal to rate of change  in  momentum,

 \frac{d\vec{p}}{dt}=F\\\;\\\text{When momentum is  conserved,then}\\\;\\\frac{d\vec{p}}{dt}=0\\\;\\Hence,\;F=0

Therefore, First  one is  correct
