The Assamese society and culture has been formed due to assimilation of different groups of people . The tribes of Assam has a significant contribution on the Assamese society and culture.
For example some tribes of Assam are :
Rabha , bodo , missing , tiwa , karbi, kachari , dimasa etc. These tribes has different languages as well as different cultural heritage. But at the most they are one of the most important element of Assamese society. The presence of these various tribes has made Assamese culture more colourful and ambitious.
