stars the twinkle because of turbulence in the atmosphere of the earth.as the atmosphere churns the light from the star is retracted in different directions. this causes the star's image to change slightly in brightness and position hence the star's twinkle.

hope it is helpful

Hi mate here is ur answer

Twinkling of stars is due to total internal reflection.

Due to the atmospheric gases total internal reflection takes place.

Star twinkles due to turbulence in atmosphere of earth. as the atmosphere churns , the light from starts is reflected in all directions this causes the star image to change slightly in brightness and position

hence the star twinkles.

Hope this may help you.....❤
