Hey mate here is ur ans

________________________________________

osmosis

the process by which water molecules moves from its higher concentration to lower concentration is termed as osmosis

semipermiable membrane

membrane which allows selective substance to pass across it

hopes it's helps uh ❗ ❗

pls mark my ans as brainliest ☆ ♡

hey dude

Osmosis means the movement of solvent particles from lower concentration to the higher concentration of solutions.

OR

OSMOSIS===

It can be defined as the transfer of solvent (larger in amount) from its higher concentration to lower concentration through SPM(semi permeable membrane).

SPM===(Full form)==>SEMI PERMEABLE membrane.

==>IT is a type substance or you can say it as a pipe which connects two solutions.

one solution has higher concentration and another has lower concentration.

it has very small small pours(holes) through which solute particles can't transfer but solvent particles can transfer through it it is called semi permeable membrane.

some points:::====>>

higher concentration means solute is more in amount then another solution which has lower concentration.

or in higher concentration has less solvent particles then another.

there fore solvent particles transfer from their higher concentration to lower.

ok friends

I HOPES IT WILL HELP YOU ALOTS.

THANK YOU
