Helen Keller is the writer, narrator as well as the central Character of her autobiography upto the age of 21 .
Helen Keller has not born disabled . However a serious illness during her childhood took away her sense of hearing and sight. It's difficult for a deaf and blind child to participate in a conversation, So Helen too felt a great deal of misery while trying to communicate with others and often had fits of tentrums.
Helen ignorant behavior made her parents, Mr Arthur H. Keller and Mrs. Kate Adams keller decide that she needed to be educated .
Helen was a determined child with a lots of perseverance. It is because of perseverance that she became the first deaf and blind to earn a bachelor of Arts degree from Radcliffe College, Massachusetts, America at the age of twenty four.
She not only learnt to read and write but also to use her great ideas to communicate with others.
Helen was a strong advocate of people wherever she went and wrote passionately about her wanting of communicating with the world. Just because of her determination, Helen is known as world famous author and speaker even today. Her companionship with her teacher is indeed awe-inspiring.
She is a motivation for millions who are trying to change their inabilities into inspiration. Helen has shown that nothing is impossible, if you want to achieve it at any cost. Helen has made it clear that she was not disabled, rather she was "differently abled " that flew out with different colors.
