the difference between acidic oxide and basic oxides are -
# acidic oxides of those oxides which show the acidic nature when it dissolve in water for example , non metallic oxides so the acidic nature when it dissolve in water its form acids
.. while basic oxides of those oxides , when we dissolve in water it so the basic nature for example metal oxides show the acidic nature when dissolved in water....
**"Acids "***
•we can identify acids by its various property like acids are generally sour in taste as a dissolve in water to release H+ ions . it turns blue Litmus into red, phenolphthalein into colourless and give red colour with methyl orange. acid have pH less than 7 the more acidic in the solution less will be its PH.ex- hydrochloric acid sulphuric acid nitric acid phosphoric acid Acetic Acid oxalic acid carbonic acid
**""Base""***
this can be identified with its various property like 20 have generally bitter taste and softest water soluble bases are known as alkali based dissolve in water to release OH- Ion its turn blue in red litmus paper, phenolphthalein into pink and give yellow colour with methyl orange that is not change the colour of methyl orange we can identify base by the pH value also this have pH more than 7, the more the alkali is solution higher will be its PH ex- Sodium Hydroxide potassium hydroxide magnesium Hydroxide zinc Hydroxide copper Hydroxide potassium hydroxide
**""salt""**
these are basically ionic compounds made up of positively charged Ion that is cation and negatively charged Ion that is anion , it can be identified by its PH value is exactly 7 or in the formation of salt then there is no any hydroxyl group or hydro atoms contain in it if it is contained then it is acidic salt or it is basic salt.. example-sodium nitrate, copper sulphate , sodium sulphate & NACL...
question 3 i already mentioned in question no.2
^_^ may it help you !!!!!
