2. Prove that non-metallic oxide are acidic in nature.

1. metallic oxides when they react with water , they make a base. example

Na2O +H2O➡2NaOH(A base)

2. non-metallic are acidic as they form acids when they react with water. example:

CO2+H2O➡ H2CO3( carbonic acid)
