The poet had a toothache and now she regrets that if she had looked after her teeth well , then should never suffer toothache. She could keep the cavity away from her teeth if she would have some precautions in eating toffees and all sugar coated sweets.

In the stanza mentioned above poetess is regreting so that she could look after her teeth.And is thinking about her past that if she had not chewed too many toffees and sweet sticky food .

$<b>I wish I’d been that much more willin’ When I had more tooth there than fillin’ To give up gobstoppers, From respect to me choppers, And to buy something else with me shillin’.</b>$

In the above stanza poetess wished she could looked after her teeth well and my teeth were more instead of these fillings.If she had not licked that much of chocolates and sweets who chopped my teeth and if I should have purchased anything else from my silings (a currency)
