When you are holding the glass slab at one end with your hand and stand in sunlight then during the day we get sufficient amount of light from the sun.
We can see the objects clearly and when you enter a dark room, will you be able to see the objects around you.
You could see the things in the dark only when we switch ON the light and see the chairs, table, T.V and utensils around you.
