1.waste disposal by industries
2.chemical fertilizers of agriculture is washed in the river
3.littering and urinating in it by common people
4.half burnt dead bodies are thrown in the river.
5.spitting of pan.tobbaco ooka etc.
6.rituals flowers ,diyas etc are floated in the river
7.holy bath and Pindi dhana are also responsible.
