In this modern world everyone is engrossed in one work or the other and therefore could not devote their time and therefore they send their children to boarding rather than teaching them at home.

1)Parents are said to be the first

teacher of a child but in boarding

school the role of parents gets

diminished and therefore their child

is molded along to the teacher.

2) At the beginning of the life, the

children are not accustomed to

speaking out there mind in front of

others who are not part of his

family.

3) at the beginning of life, freedom is

very important to make the student

understand the world in his own way

Home is better than boarding house

Undoubtedly, there can be no place as cozy, secure, beneficial, and agreeable as home. It has been said be wise educationists that one’s home is one’s first school; and one’s parents are one’s first teachers. At home we get all in all --- love, care, company of parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Our formative development is determined by our homes only. We learn to speak, walk, run, play, speak, and so many other things at home only. Our home environment has a considerable influence on our personality and traits. However, homes after a time can’t provide us the healthy environment to learn advanced skills in academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular fields. We need an institute to learn these skills.

Boarding school is an ideal place where we can learn and hone our academics and co-curricular skills. We get a healthy and competitive environment to study, play, and develop skills such as reading, writing, sports, debates, discussions, art and craft, tours and treks, etc. A major advantage of the boarding school experience is the fact that the learning never stops. Your child is immersed in an educational environment, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and even when they’re outside the classroom, they’re still learning important life skills that they wouldn’t learn through sitting at home in the evenings and at weekends. The extra-curricular activities at boarding schools are almost certainly far more extensive than those at a day school. This means that your children will have numerous opportunities to get involved in new hobbies, thereby developing non-academic skills that will be valuable for the real world. Boarding schools make the love bond between parents and the students stronger as they see less of each other every day. Going to boarding school cultivates self-reliance, getting your child used to the idea of being away from home.

Though a boarding school may not give us as much love, care, comfort, security, and protection of our home, but it definitely helps in shaping an all-round personality of a learner.

An ideal thing would be to bring about a salubrious blend of home and boarding schools. Homes should try to provide their children with a boarding school like environment at home, and boarding schools should try to crate home-like environment at boarding schools.
