Due date calculator. Congratulations on your pregnancy, so the next big question is when's the baby due? Our calculator can give you an estimated date if you fill in the details below. The average pregnancy is calculated at 40 weeks (or 280 days) from the start of your last menstrual period (LMP).
Your due date is calculated by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period (assuming a 28 day cycle). Note that your menstrual period and ovulation are counted as the first two weeks of pregnancy. If you deliver on your due date, your baby is actually only 38 weeks old, not 40.
The Current Date is set to your local workstation date. Gestational Age by LMP is calculated from the first day of the last menstrual period. EDD by LMP is calculated by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of the last menstrual period. Gestational Age by US is measured by ultrasound (US) on the Ultrasound Date.
To work out how many weeks pregnant you are by this measure, try to remember when your last period started. The first day of your LMP counts as day one of your pregnancy. You can find out your estimated due date using our handy due date calculator.
