Honda has launched an ambitious new advertising campaign for its two-wheeler business designed by Dentsu Marcon. It’s being unveiled in two phases with the tag line ‘Honda is Honda’ and relies on the wings that form part of the logo for visual cues. In the first phase, July 14-18, the company launched a teaser on various micro blogging websites, which was followed by a television commercial.
In the second phase, which began July 21, the company will be straddling television, print, radio, outdoor and cinemas. Honda’s brand ambassador Akshay Kumar is also promoting the campaign through social media.
The campaign marks the next chapter of its business expansion in India, said YS Guleria, vice president, sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.
