In our society the women are often blamed for giving birth to girl child. Is this have any sense? Explain with scientific reason.

Male produces 2 types of gametes, 50% of sperm carrying X- chromosomes, while other Y chromosomes. Female produces only one type of gametes, each carrying X chromosome. After fusion of gametes, zygote would carry either XX or XY depending on the fused male gamete. Zygote carrying XX will bcom girl & zygote carrying XY will become boy. Thus, the gender is a kid is not determined by mother, but by father
