Horses are grazing in the field whose sides are 80 m and 18 m respectively, if the horses are grazing diagonally then
what would be the distance they have to cover?

you have not mentioned it but i m still assuming that tge field iis in rectangular shape...naming it ABCD

so the angles of the field are in 90⁰

therefore,

by pythagoras theorem,

AB² + AD² = AC²(DIAGONAL)

80² + 18² = AC²

6400 + 324 = AC²

6724 = AC²

AC² =(82)²

AC = 82m....

so the horses have to cover the distance of 82m.
