- Amount of provision = no. of students * no. of days = constant
- The value of provisions remain same in both cases and hence can be equated
Let number of days provisions lasted after 100 students joined = x
200*30 = (200+100)*x
6000 = 300x
x = 6000/300
x = 20 days
The additional 100 students will make the provisions last for 20 days.
