Formula :

Amount of heat = Q

Specific heat capacity = c

Change in temperature = Δ t

Mass = m

Q = m c Δ t

Find the heat

m = 50 g = 0.05 kg

Q = m c ( t - t' )

= > Q = 0.05 × 4.2 × ( 80 - 50 )

= > Q = 0.05 × 4.2 × 30

= > Q = 0.5 × 4.2 × 3

= > Q = 0.5 × 12.6

= > Q = 6.3

ANSWER:

The amount of heat is 6.3 J
