Question
Jaya's father think that she is too young for the long walk to mysuru. Do you think he is right? Give instances from the story book to suppory yoir views.

Ans: Though Jaya's father thinks that his daughter is too young to take the long walk to mysuru, Jaya does not seem to be delicate even as a child. She plays with and takes care of an elephant calf (Deva) by herself, can ride with him without supervision, an fetches water in pots for the household from the river. She also managed to get her family members invited to the royal parade, which shows how good communicator she is despite being just a child. She is surely more capable and mature for her age than her father considers her to be.
