The base is one leg of right angled triangle

The height is the other leg  of right angled triangle

The ladder acts as the hypotenuse of right angled triangle

By Pythagoras theorem, states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of squares of the lengths of other two sides of the right-angled triangle.

By above definition, we get,

c^2 = a^2 + b^2

Where "c" represents hypotenuse

"a" represents length of one leg of right angled triangle

"b" represents length of other leg of right angled triangle

Here "a" = 25 ; "b" = 35 and "c" = ?

c^2 = 25^2 + 35^2
