How 2+2=8 and 3+3=9 and 4+4=12

according to pattern first divide by 1 then divide by 3 then divide by 5 as given.... this forms a series

(( {2 + 2})^{2}  - 2^{3}) \div 1  = 8

((3 + 3)^{2} - 3^{2}) \div 3   = 9

((4 + 4 )^{2}  - 4 ^{1}  )\div 5 = 12
