-According to India's position, the tropic of cancer passes through the middle of India and it divides India into tropical regions.

-Temperature increases as we move towards the south

b) Altitude

Temperature decreases as the altitude increases

Regions with high altitude face low temperatures

c) Proximity to the Sea(nearness to the Sea)

-We get rainfall from the South West monsoon winds and North East monsoon winds

-As there is a low pressure area developed in the east of India, moisture ladden air blows from the Indian ocean and brings rain to the southern parts of India.

-Regions close to the Sea have a hot and humid climate. Humidity in such regions is Very high
