How a person in depression is counsellated?

A person in depression can be counseled by indirect confrontation, making them talk about their feelings without directly amount them. Remind them, they're not alone. Positive words and advice may help them. Sometimes, just listening to their problems may be enough. Anti depressants can be given if necessary. A psychiatrist can be consulted.

Hi Mondal!
You mean Counselled, I guess!
See, it depends completely upon the person with the issue.
I do Client-centred Therapy ie You are the BOSS, you will tell whether you want to get treated, or trained, or not. Or you just want to distract yourself from the problem at hand.
Or you just want someone to Listen To You without passing Judgements or you just Want to CRY and Vent as long as you can't VENT anymore.
So, you see there are stages.
If the Client is ready to think about the problem, we go forward.
Stages are: Familiarity, Acceptance, Evaluation of Problem, Re-affirmations & Planning, Possible Pathways, Implementation, ......
Hope it helps!
