When the harmful air pollutant like carbon monoxide (CO) get trapped in our respiratory system it is diffused in our blood from alveoli. when the pollutant like CO get diffused it form carbamino hemoglobin. This carbamino hemoglobin will slow down the cellular processes and also the energy production (ATP) in our cell. This can also caused high blood pressure , increased breath rate and heart beat.
