Computing systems if digital, process digital inputs to produce digital information that can be used. Or if analog, process analog information to produce usable signals for various purposes. So digital signals are better for digital computing systems, and analog signals are better for analog computing systems. Converters are manufactured for converting analog signals into digital signals or for converting digital signals into analog signals. Which is better, depends on each application’s requirements. Most systems use a variety of computing systems to accomplish useful results.
