Nothing in the real world is digital. Digital signals are created from coding analog information, and analog information can be simulated by decoding digital information. Computing systems if digital, process digital inputs to produce digital information that can be used. Or if analog, process analog information to produce usable signals for various purposes. So digital signals are better for digital computing systems, and analog signals are better for analog computing systems. Converters are manufactured for converting analog signals into digital signals or for converting digital signals into analog signals. Which is better, depends on each application’s requirements. Most systems use a variety of computing systems to accomplish useful results.

Analog Signal uses continuous range of values while Digital Signal uses discrete range of values for communication
Advantages of Analog Signals ->
1. For shorter distances, they are easy to set up
2. Analog Signals are Noise tolerant and make good use of bandwidth.
3. Lower set up cost
