for arid and dry regions drip irrigation and sprinkler system has worked a lot as it saves water and reduces seepage of water........this helps people to grow crops in difficult terrains.....canals are also used for irrigationwhereas people redirect the flow of river into their farms in hilly areas to provide water to ther field......all thanks to human skill and scientific and technial knowledge
