aquatic animals can breathe air and inhale oxygen that are dissolve in water of lakes rivers ponds.. through their special organs that gills helps them directly by the skin.
plants survive through their leaves and their greeny pores of leaves helps them to survive in surrounding they absorb co2 to survive mainly.

They have some special fearures and we can say organs like spores and gills in them and we already know oxygen is dissolved in oceans water that helps the organisms to survive
