classifications :-

transparent ( allows light to pass through completely) true solutions like sugar solutions ; plane glass

translucent (allows light to pass through partially ) colloidal solutions ; glasses used in bathrooms.

opaque (does not allow light to pass through)
wood, steel, wall ....
