a) Natural Fibres – As the name suggests, Natural Fibres are the fibres that are obtained naturally, that is obtained from nature’s own plants, or animals.

For example, cotton obtained from cotton plants, silk obtained from silkworm are natural fibres.

b) Synthetic FibresSynthetic Fibres are those fibres, that are produced synthetically in a laboratory, using various chemicals.

For example, Rayon, Nylon, etc. are all Synthetic Fibres.
