How are fats digested in our bodies? Where does this process take place?
Answers
Answer:
Digestion of fats mainly occurs in the small intestine . The presence of fats in the small intestine activates the hormone to release pancreatic lipase from pancreas and bile from the liver , with the help in the emulsification of fat into fatty acid and monogylyceroides, which pass thdough the small intestine .

Digestion of Fats
Fats are digested in small intestine in our body. The liver secreyes a an alkaline liquid called bile into small intestine. The salts present in bile emulsify large globules of Fats present in our food into smaller globules.
Pancreas secretes pancreatic juice into small intestine which contains an enzyme called 'lipase'. The enzyme lipase breaks down the emulsified fat further.
Finally, the enzymes present in intestinal juice brings about complete digestion of Fats by converting them into fatty acids and glycerol.
