Fuel can be solid, liquid or gas.

Explanation:

Fuel can be either liquid, solid or gas based on their physical property.

  1. Solid fuel can be firewood or cow dung cakes. These are especially used in the rural areas due to their availability.
  2. Liquid fuel is the one that is commonly used. Example: Petrol, diesel, kerosene.
  3. Gaseous fuel are gas derived from agricultural and domestic waste by a special set up or petroleum products. Example: Biogas (gobar gas), LPG (kitchen gas).
