Acquired traits are those traits that are developed during lifetime of an individual. These traits cannot be inherited. For example, a wrestler develops large muscles due to his training program. but this does'nt mean it'll be passed on to his ofspring. In simple terms, acquired traits are skills, knowledge or memory that an individual develops during his/her lifetime.

On the other hand, inherited traits are those traits that are transferred from parents to offsprings. Example, skin colour, eye colour and shape, etc

hope this helps you.....:)

Acquired trait=an organism which is not inherited but develops In response to the environment is called an acquired traits for example if a Beetle does not get sufficient food for a considerable time it wight will be reduced due to starvation the low weight of this beetle is an acquired trait of the Beetle which has been acquired in response to the environment which contained insufficient food .
Inherited trait =A traitof an organism which is caused by change in its genes is called an inherited trait .example there is a population of red Beetles in the greenbushes against suppose that a colour variation arises during reproduction so that there is one beetle which is green in colour this change of green colour in the Beetle has been brought about by changing genes of the reproductive cells the green colour of the beetle is an inherited trait which can be passed on to the next generations.
