The judge of Supreme court is appointed by the President but he doesn't have a free hand in this. The President should consult with the Chief justice of Supreme court and other judges of Supreme court for the appointment of judges.
"THE JUDGE OF THE SUPREME COURT CANNOT BE REMOVED BY THE PRESIDENT ALTHOUGH THE JUDGE IS APPOINTED BY HIM. FOR THE REMOVAL OF A JUDGE FROM A SUPREME COURT, VOTING HAS TO BE PASSED IN THE PARLIAMENT SUPPORTED BY THE TOTAL MEMBERS OR NOT LESS THAN TWO-THIRD MEMBERS PRESENT IN THAT SECISSION AND THE VOTING MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE PRESIDENT IN THE SAME SECISSION FOR SUCH A MISBEHAVIOUR OR GUILTY"
