Apart, the constitution limits the powers of the government by following ways-

1. It sets certain laws and regulations which everyone has to abide by.

2. It has independent bodies which are free from any sort of upper pressure.

3. It has made three important bodies called-legislative, executive and judiciary.

4. Every government body has its head which prevents it from taking any wrong action.

5. Controller and Auditor General as well as Election Commission are bodies that are independent of taking any decision.

6. Power is also limited by punishing the one who does not get abide by the rules.

7. These were some of the limitations that the Indian constitution execute to limit the powers of the Indian government.

there check and balances within our political system that limited the power of each branch in order to prevent the abuse of power.the system divide the state into three branches -the legislative executive and judicial branch and gives each the power to fulfill different tasks
