how are maps more helpful than a globe

Hi friend,
Maps are useful to us in many ways.
1)A globe cannot be used to study a particular part for example map of your city or state.
2)Map's are of 6 types.
Physical,Topographic,Political,Road map,Climate Map,Economic map.
All these maps have their own uses.
3)These maps provide various detailed information about a particular region where as globe cannot be used for this purpose.
4)Last but not least purpose of a map is to help in navigation which a globe cannot fulfill.
So,maps are more useful than a globe.

Maps can folded but globe it is an big circle which can't be taken from one place to another maps are easy to carry but globes are a heavy , gaint structure . Hope this will help u .
