• Indus and tributaries

• Ganga plains

• Brahmaputra plains

Indus and tributaries:

This plain comprises of rivers which originates from Himalaya such as “Indus, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas and Sutlej”.

Ganga plains:

The formation of Ganga plains between the ‘Ghaggar and Test’ River due to their depositions.

Brahmaputra Plains:

This is the regions which is formed by the Brahmaputra River alone and it is present in the state of Assam.
