organisms are similar when compared with their ancestors as they evolved from a single parent, cyanobacteria. they are dissimilar in leading their lives, earning their food, habits, etc

organisms are same as they are decended from same ancestor and different in their appearence etc for example zebras stripes show that each species adapted to the environment after branching from same ancestor.
