on the basis of status of development we can classify the resources into

1) potential :- resouces which are found in a region but have not been utilised.

2)developed :- resources which r surveyed and their quality and quantity have been determined for utilisation.

3)stock:- material in the enviorment which have potential to satisfy human needs but technology to access these are included among stock.

4)reserves:- the resources which r present in our enviorment but r preserved for future generation
