Heya!! Here is your answer!

Yes,this statement is of course true. But why??

A- Well, here's your answer! Imagine that you're going to a trip in a bus. So,would you think that you are in motion? Of course not.Because, anyone can't feel wether we are in motion or not themselves. But,you are certainly in motion with respect to the person who is standing outside the bus.And most interestingly, you will also think that the person outside is in motion because the bus, in which you are sitting is in motion! Interesting right?

⭐I hope you understood ⭐

Motion and Rest are relative:-

we feel motion only in respect to stationary object if two person are sitting in a car which is moving when they see other they are not in motion with respect to car because there is no change in position but when they see any stationary object they are in motion to that stationary object hence we can say that motion and rest are relative
