Dispersal of seeds is very important for the survival of plant species. If plants grow too closely together, they have to compete for light, water and nutrients from the soil. Seed dispersal allows plants to spread out from a wide area and avoid competing with one another for the same resources

Answer:

=Seeds can be dispersed away from the parent plant individually or collectively, as well as dispersed in both space and time. The patterns of seed dispersal are determined in large part by the dispersal mechanism and this has important implications for the demographic and genetic structure of plant populations, as well as migration patterns and species interactions. The main modes of seed dispersal are: gravity, wind, ballistic, water, and by animal.

=Dispersal of seed is important as if seeds germinate near to parent plants it will increase a lot of competition for air, water, and food as well.

If competition increases it will lead to the death of the species and dispersal also leads to exposure to a new environment that helps in adaptation and evolution.

please mark it as a brilliant.
