they are homogeneous in nature

they do not scatter a beam of light and hence do not show tyndall effect

they are very stable

examples=salt in water , sugar in water etc..

SUSPENSION

they are heterogeneous in nature

they do not scatter a beam of light hence don't show tyndall effect

they're unstable

examples= sand in water , dusty air
