• If in a place , there is a charged perticle, electromagnetic field is produced around it and when this perticle is transferred from one place to another place , current is produced and this is called magnetic field.So we can say that by accelerated or oscillating charges , electromagnetic waves are produced.

•The mathematical expressions for electric and magnetic fields of an electromagnetic wave propagating along the z-axis can be described two equation

the in xz plane the electrical field

Ex= E° sin(Kz–ωt) where

z is the position of the perticle,

t is the time and

E° is the applitude of the electrical field

ω is the frequency

and

the in yz plane the magnetic field

By= B°sin(Kz–ωt) where

z is the position of the perticle,

t is the time and

B° is the applitude of the magnetic field

ω is the frequency

The diagram is given below.

• The applications important properties of electromagnetic waves:-

1. The do not need any kind of medium.

2. They travel in the speed of light (3×10^8 m/s)

3.electromagnetic waves didn't deflect by electric and magnetic field
