how are the hereditary change responsible for evolution

That is how the frequence of aleles changes in the population. That’s how diversity inside a species spread through the population. That’s how small changes became new functions and organs

I think that hereditary changes aren’t the only factor responsible for evolution, there’s the natural and sexual selection, and other factors, but without hereditary changes, sexual reproduction would be a waste, because every living being would be a perfect clone of it’s parents.

evolution is the changes in inherited traits of a population from generation to generation. mutation in these genes can produce new and altered traits ,resulting in hereditary changes in organisms. Heredity is the process of passing of traits from one generation to the next generation.
