The modes of reproduction inunicellular organisms can be fission, budding, etc. whereas in multicellular organisms, specialised reproductive organs are present. Therefore, they can reproduce by complex reproductive methods such as vegetative propagation, spore formation, etc.

Unicellular and multicellular organisms both uses the method of sexual as well as asexual reproduction.
Asexual reproduction in unicellular organisms can be through budding, fission, etc. Mostly the unicellular organisms opt for asexual reproduction but they can also reproduce sexually by the method of conjugation.
Multicellular organisms and other hand reproduce asexually by the process of mitosis and by gamete formation they reproduce sexually.
