peninsular river are depends on season like rainy and less flow whereas himalayas does't depend on season because they come from himalayas.

peninsular river carries less fertile soil and less use for irrigation whereas himalayans carrie very fertile soil and good use in irrigation.

peninsular rivers are : kaveri,krishna

himalayans are :ganga,bharmaputra,gangotri etc
