why are photosynthesis and respiration interrelated​

during photosynthesis, O2 is released as a product, which is inhaled for respiration.

Also during respiration, CO2 is exhaled out, which is used by plants for photosynthesis.

photosynthesis makes the glucose that is required in cellular respiration to make ATP.the glucose is then turned into carbon dioxide , which is used in photosynthesis.while water is broken down to form oxygen in photosynthesis,in cellular respiration oxygen is combined with hydrogen to form water.
