Pollutants can be classified as degradable, slowly degradable and non-degradable. Quantitative Pollutants- The substances which are already present in the environment, but are termed as pollutants when their concentration (quantity) increases in the environment.

Primary Pollutant :-

These are the dry wastes or dry pollutants like plastic, fiber, metals, steel e-wastes ( electronic wastes ) and other materials which can't be decomposed. There are some materials like mental which can't be decomposed.

Secondary Pollutant :-

These are the wet pollutants like kitchen wastes, vegetable peels, left over food dishes, rotten fruits and vegetables and all the things which can be decomposed into organic matter.
