Sea doesn't not change much with time and is eternal but the feet of the girl will change with time and a day will come when temporary life will come to an end.

The human life is transitory and no force can stop this from happening.

There's a huge contrast as people come and go but the sea stays there for eternity.

Moreover, people change because of circumstances, age etc but there is negligible change in the eternal beauty of sea.
