By the way there are two types of twins.
1) Identical twins
2) Non identical twins.
when egg cell divided in two parts then identical twins are born.
and two egg cells are enter in ovary then non identical twins are formed.

Also, millions of sperms from father is released into the vagina. One of these sperm get to the ova in oviduct and fuses with it. This causes the formation of zygote... which then foetus and finally it borns as baby.
But what about twins ???
Sometimes, before fusion the ova gets divided.
As there are two ova, then there will be two babies.
Hence, twins are born....
