viruses are not alive in environment but when they entered in host body they get alive and replicate themselves.

This makes them radically differentfrom any known organism. Viruses do, however, show some characteristics ofliving things. They are made of proteins and glycoproteins like cells are. They contain genetic information needed to produce more viruses in the form of DNA or RNA.
