Actually root pressure developed below the root hair mean level and the lower portion was hugely influenced by the upward force due to ascent of sap. Moreover, to overcome that force, upward conduction of water and minerals with the help of xylem tissue occurs and thus water and minerals are transported in plant using root pressure strategy.

◆ PROCESS - Ascent of sap

◆ EXPLANATION - The water and minerals are transported and root pressure is developed. This pressure releases when the upward conduction of water and minerals occur. Thus, that pressure forces water and mineral salts to get transported all over the plant body and is consumed later.

Hope this helps you
